The IT Data Analytics Manager has a critical role in enabling data use across channels and geographies. The role will partner with Paula’s Choice IT and Business leadership to develop and maintain a vision for integrated data for analytical uses including data warehousing, operational reporting, dashboards, and advanced uses including machine learning and artificial intelligence. Additionally, this role will ensure that data and analytical systems are secure, compliant, and highly available. Lastly, they will balance new development with production support and service delivery for Paulas Choices users.
This new role will be critical in establishing world class policies and procedures to support data-driven decision making and maximize the value of data through innovative use cases and new technologies.

As a IT Data Analytics Manager, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
- Partner with the CIO and IT Leadership Team to define global data strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Plan for and oversee the ingestion of data from enterprise business applications and other internal and external sources into an integrated data lake and data warehouse.
- Partner with distributed business analytics team to manage requirements and develop, implement, and support semantic models that provide a unified view of data across applications, geographies, and sales channels.
- Guide the development team to add new data sources and enhance analytical environments using the agile methodology and following best practices from the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure processes are in place and effective for monitoring of all production jobs, responding to service requests, and resolving incidents and problems within SLAs, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting as required.
- Manage project deliverables and responsibilities, vendor management, contract negotiation, budgets, and be the subject matter expert on analytics systems.
- Working with the PC Security Architect and Prestige Central IT team, ensure analytics systems meet all requirements for data security, data governance, and master data management. (GDPR, CCPA, PII, PCI, etc.)
- Oversee “health of data analytics” KPI’s such as service lead time and analytics platform adoption
- Evaluate, select, and implement innovative technologies that offer business value
- Ensure Data Management teamwork is aligned with business priorities
- Provide all managerial functions for the Data Engineering team including hiring, goal-setting, performance management, learning and development, and recognition

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:
$160,000 – $180,000 USD/annually

Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. WHAT YOULL DO:
Data manipulation
We expect our Data Scientists to have expert analytical SQL skills. This means fluidity constructing statements that rely on a combination of joins, aggregate functions, subqueries, and window functions. About this role
Faire is using machine learning to change wholesale and help local retailers compete with Amazon and big box stores. Our experienced data scientists and machine learning engineers are developing solutions related to discovery, ranking, search, recommendations, logistics, underwriting, and more – all with the goal of helping local retail thrive.
The Data Science team owns a wide variety of algorithms and models that power the marketplace. We care about building machine learning models that help our customers thrive.
As a member of Search for the Data Science team youll be responsible for developing machine learning-powered search ranking models and adding personalization to our search and discovery. Youll determine answers to questions like, how relevant is this product to this retailer and how can we infer that in real-time? Can we create real-time embeddings of users’ interests and use them to power rankings? How can we improve purchase flow? What techniques can we use to enable our A/B tests to more quickly converge when dealing with low sample sizes?

We are looking to hire a Senior Data Science Product Manager to join our AI Product ision. Formed last year, we are charged with building AI-powered solutions that will change how our teammates operate and how our brands go to market. What You’ll Be Doing:
- This is a data science / analytics hire to support Extend’s Risk and Analytics team. You will have the opportunity to help scale within the organization. The role’s responsibilities will include:
- Revenue and Product Analytics:
- A/B testing and optimization across consumer-facing product touch points on merchant sites
- Platform-wide analytics to confirm the product is working as expected (loading of images, buttons, load times etc.)

What you’ll do:
As a Content Designer at Squanch Games, you will be in charge of making the translation of design concepts into high-quality game execution. You love thinking about how to bring great character-driven narrative and content to life. You ll work on levels at all points of their creation: paper maps, white box layouts, gameplay spaces, playtesting and iteration, and final polish. About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team responsible for our rapidly growing data feeds product suite. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and expansion of our market-leading product in the Oracle space, enabling secure interactions between smart contracts and off-chain data. Your Impact

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100 – $109,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Data is the backbone of both innovation and decision-making at Pinterest. We have over an exabyte of data, 400k+ data tables, and 1000+ employees issuing 3M+ queries to our data warehouse per month. Data is used across most disciplines and use-cases across Pinterest, including but not limited to training machine learning models, building company forecasts, decision making for what experiments are shipped, OKR/goal setting, and many more use-cases across sales, finance, marketing, engineer, product, design, analytics, and data science.
As we continue to innovate and grow our business, we need to not only have a world class data warehouse, but also democratize the ability to get insights and visualizations from the data warehouse by making it simpler, faster, and trustworthy.
We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Product Manager with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence expertise to help us drive the next step function of analytical velocity at Pinterest.
What you’ll do:
- Gather feedback from customers and platform teams on their vision, use cases, requirements, and pain points with respect to the data needed for product development and business operations.
- Create and drive the multi-year product vision, roadmaps and specifications for investments in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (partnering with Eng), and the relevant tooling that powers data analysts, data scientists, and developer’s interactions with these. Closely collaborate with customers and platform teams to review, validate, prioritize and make any tough trade-offs.
- Drive an innovation agenda in partnership with Data Science to invest in higher-risk/higher-reward opportunities to deliver step-functions in data quality and analytics velocity. Have your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies and architectures to bring applicable ideas to Pinterest.
- Drive evangelism, adoption, and customer satisfaction of our data investments through closer partnership with your stakeholders ensuring that we are building the right infrastructure and platform solutions for the problem the teams encounter.
- Manage the entire product life cycle, whether decisions require reinvestment, transitioning to maintenance or product retirement.
- Measure and improve analytical velocity. Furthermore, find mechanisms to quantify how improvements to data velocity lead to product improvements and innovation.
- Help solve some immediate business critical problems in data warehousing
- Simplify: Ensure the majority of queries are run on top of a small set of tables that have been certified to be trustworthy
- Scale: Find mechanisms to ensure that as the number of people using the data-warehouse grows, we have the proper mechanisms to maintain quality, documentation, schema design, and more
- Democratization & Self-Sufficiency: Develop the required tooling to reduce the reliance on analysts and data scientists for analytical needs
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years combined industry plus post-graduate experience in a deeply technical and analytical space
- 5+ years experience in product management or a similar role
- Track record for execution and delivery of engineering or analytical velocity outcomes
- In-depth understanding of data warehousing, and big data-query tooling
- Strong technical breadth and judgment – ability to quickly ramp up and go deep on a range of technologies, ability to identify technical risks and tradeoffs in order to build a stack that works for Pinterest
- Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL (or other database languages) and a scripting language (Python or R)
- Comfort with a fast-changing environment and ability to manage ambiguity
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and deliver solutions
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, and ability to persuade others to accomplish program objectives while holding yourself and your team to a high standard of accountability
