Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: USA

To oversee the compliance, maintenance, and efficient production of quality digital products. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the execution of activities to ensure the quality of our courses and software applications, specifically the delivery of our curriculum through our Education Management System by implementing testing procedures. They will also build strong business relationships with their peers from the QA team and within their Agile teams, but also with technical support and business users in order to ensure the quality control processes are integrated throughout the curriculum and software development life cycle and that the overall quality of the learning experience is constantly improving.

  • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing curriculum assets to confirm quality conformance to learning experience specifications and quality deliverables
  • Track, document, and report quality metrics and KPIs to indicate overall curriculum health and quality
  • Assist and mentor others by providing testing insight, recommendations, and requirements for test strategies and test case development
  • Plans, develops, coordinates, designs and implements test strategies according to guidelines (inclusive of Accessibility, adherence to Content Frameworks, and Engineering standards for performance and flow)
  • Develops, designs, and implements automation test tools and strategies per specification and design
  • Introduces, analyzes, evaluates, and selects industry tools to facilitate testing effort and coordination
  • Analyzes browser testing techniques
  • Makes design and direction decisions related to testing tasks
  • Adheres and contributes to Engineering QA policies, procedures, and standards
  • Maintain technical knowledge and understanding of the latest testing methodologies by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Responds to occasional system errors, including during off hours
  • Writes both manual and automated test cases
  • Ensures quality and consistency throughout the architecture and implementation of our testing method
  • Ensures teams have appropriate curriculum, product, and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver curriculum effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines for activity completion
  • Accomplishes department and organization missions by completing tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years Quality Assurance experience, including experience testing and validating digital products
  • Demonstrates excellent writing skills, leveraging data and reporting to communicate priorities and direction
  • Experience of project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
  • Basic HTML and web skills essential
  • Thorough understanding of information architecture principles and practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Google business applications preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Educational Management Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile principles
  • Communicates point of view in a compelling way and with expertise across a wide range of projects and internal/ external clients

  • Solves problems by using expertise to evaluate multiple sources of information, and creating innovative solutions to problems

Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position can expect a starting salary range of $49,000-$60,000, and are eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan.
