About us

TravelNest is an Edinburgh founded travel-tech scale-up, servicing a global market. We help vacation rental Hosts maximise their performance in a global market. Our platform enables hosts to upload their property details once and be advertised for bookings across 30+ top travel sites including Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia.

Our ambition is to become the place hosts around the world market and manage their property listings. Providing everything from channel listings, to operational services, to facilitating direct bookings. A “super app” for vacation rental owners.

Despite the challenges over the past couple of years, we have grown our customer by 500% and there's no sign of it slowing down either.

About the Role

Our Marketing team plays a crucial role within the organisation. The team owns and manages touch points across the whole customer journey, from acquisition to onboarding to activation and customer success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Communications Manager to join us and shape the future direction of how we communicate with our customers at all points of their journey. You will drive strategic marketing and communication initiatives to drive higher customer conversion, performance and retention.

This role would suit an ambitious inidual with a clear vision and philosophy, who would thrive in a fast growing company and relish the challenge of putting their stamp on the business.

What you'll do...

  • Work across all areas of customer comms to build a clear strategy in how, when and how frequently we communicate with prospects and customers
  • Managing CRM campaigns to improve and enhance customer lifecycle from acquisition to customer and supporting the growth drivers of our business
  • Manage customer lifecycle campaigns, using data-driven insights to develop campaigns that encourage acquisition and better performance for our customers. The CRM platform currently used is Freshsales.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate existing and new campaigns, promos, constantly measure campaign performance, and A/B test.
  • Define a full test, learn and iterate framework across any campaigns, nurture flows, etc. that you launch.
  • Develop data reporting and KPI metrics to improve strategic data insights and provide useful data to guide decision making, effectively enabling the our communications strategy and wider organisation to scale efficiently

What we're looking for...

  • Experience in setting up or managing a CRM tool such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Freshsales, etc.
  • Experience in writing copy for various communication channels would be desirable. We're not looking for a wordsmith but someone who is comfortable writing eye catching copy
  • The ability to hit the ground running and have a hands-on approach to get things set up who can work with many unknowns
  • Experience in setting up, managing & analysing CRM campaigns on various channels like email, SMS, whatsapp, push notifications, etc.
  • Data-driven: come up with new ideas and define new opportunities based on data insights
  • Comfortable jumping into data tools like Looker, Tableau, Excel, Google sheets, etc. to gain data insights and identify customer segments
  • 3+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing would be ideal
  • Expertise in customer segmentation and audience development, with a solid understanding of test design, measurement and analysis
