Responsibilities

• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends, patterns, and insights

• Leverage data insights to enable strategic decision-making

• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data

• Present information using data visualization techniques

• Build and improve data analytics tools stack (BI/Reporting, ETL, Data Warehousing)

• Design and prototype new customer-facing analytics features for Fieldguide’s products

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, customer success, go-to-market, leadership, and external partners/customers

Skills

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist

• Deep knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Python, R or Java is an asset

• Experience using data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

• Analytical mind and business acumen

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Statistics, Business, or relevant field; graduate degree in quantitative field is preferred
