Introduction
iRobot is seeking a talented QA Lead to support our digital business initiatives within iRobot by providing best-in-class quality assurance testing. Reporting to the Sr Director of Engineering, the ideal candidate has experience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, define, and build tests within our delivery teams as well as end-to-end tests working alongside various parts of the business.

- Drive test strategy and process across our delivery teams. This role develops the test strategy in collaboration with the lead program manager, architect, and delivery team leads.
- Working together with functional QA test leads, this role defines the overall test approach, toolset, execution, and reporting process for programs.
- As the QA Lead for programs, this role must identify and surface risks and issues throughout the delivery process and various testing cycles.
- Own and ensure build out the scenarios for the end-to-end tests. Ultimately, this role assumes ownership of e2e tests for large programs. At times, this role may be hands on building out test cases and scenarios when there are gaps.
- Plan and coordinate overall program/portfolio-level UAT (alignment of acceptance criteria, facilitation of status and triage meetings, reporting)
- Own and lead the go/no-go meeting for large launches. Provide criteria and guidance on decision-making process.
- Ensure non-functional tests occur at the proper time in the delivery cycle (eg, load testing, pen tests, compliance requirements, etc)
- Facilitate the coordination of complex non-production environments with the technical teams.
- Work closely with the QA Automation Lead as primary input for automation priorities
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- 8+ years of experience as a QA resource working within an agile environment
- Capable of operating independently and without direction yet has the awareness to identify situations where additional guidance or support is needed
- Experience driving quality for large program/portfolio releases with multiple stakeholders and teams
- Strong and proactive team player
- Demonstrated capability of using JIRA with internal and external (remote based) teams
- Prior experience testing high traffic, transactional or consumer-oriented websites
- Ability to work collaboratively across the organization; interpret user requirements and identify root cause and solutions
- Must be a hands-on leader
