About the role

The Marketing Co-founder will own the entire demand generation for Apollo products and will set and execute a marketing strategy that delivers high-quality leads, sales pipeline, and ultimately (& most importantly) revenue. As we grow you will build, lead, and grow a team of marketing leaders and professionals.


1. Create & execute the ideal GTM strategy to get us to our first 1000 (& then 100,0000 customers.) - SMBs/E-Commerce owners in North America & Europe.

2. Recruit and manage the team. You must be able to hire and run a marketing team. You have a set of marketers (full-time/consultants) you’ve worked with in the past that want to work with you again.
3. Co-founder.You will be engaged in company-defining activities such as setting the culture, pitching investors, and public relations.
4. Hands-on.You are not just a manager - ideally, you and one other person can ship marketing campaigns independently. We are very hands-on, so you must get your hands dirty!


We are open-minded about the experience. Here are some pointers:

1. Founder experience. You have built a product from scratch and scaled it to a wide audience. Ideally, you did this as a founder + CMO/CPO/CEO at your own startup.

2. Recruiting + management.One of your job's core challenges is recruiting and managing a team. Ideally, you’ve managed a team of at least 5 marketers in your career.
3. Relevant industries We are open to anyone, but ideally, you’ve built products that required you to simplify something that was otherwise complex such as Fintech, Martech, B2B SaaS, Banking, Mobile Payments & Blockchain.
4. Diversity We will work hard to build a erse team from the beginning. Our focus is on ensuring everyone on the team feels safe and valued. Ideally, you make people feel comfortable no matter their background and have a track record of leading erse teams.
