Accountant / Financial Controller
Lastbit is building an open global virtual payment network to enable instant and cheap cross-border payments built on top of the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
Today, we have two B2C proof of concepts built for the European market that allow hardcore Bitcoin users to interact seamlessly with the real work through Mastercard cards and IBAN accounts.
The end goal is to completely abstract away Bitcoin to enable fiat-to-fiat use cases for a handful of potential use cases that can include remittances, e-commerce, and paying salaries (among others). For example, paying a USD denominated credit card directly from a EUR denominated debit card immediately without out needing to pay FX and routing fees.
As of today, we are working on integrating to our network the American and Indian payment ecosystems. We are also part of the Visa Fast Track program in the US.
