Pet Honesty is a young and fast-growing brand of pet supplements with the mission of lighting the way to more happy, healthy years for every pet. Our delicious soft chews are formulated with premium supplements and other natural ingredients to help pet parents easily support the health of their dogs and cats.

Reporting to the Head of D2C & Loyalty, the CRM specialist will develop and execute Pet Honesty’s email marketing campaigns and SMS initiatives to enhance engagement between the brand and existing consumers and drive D2C revenue. This person will partner with marketing leads to bring to life the inspirational purpose and value of Pet Honesty to our loyal consumers and execute ongoing flows and promotional campaigns to activate them.

This role is open to remote candidates. The Pet Honesty offices are located in Austin, TX. If remote, occasional travel to the company offices may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop monthly email and SMS content calendar based upon data-driven insights and brand campaigns
  • Equally balance brand building and a drive to scale D2C revenue through strategic promotions
  • Create data-driven customer segmentation strategy that delivers incremental revenue and higher engagement
  • Work closely with design team to create email campaign and flow assets
  • Consistently audit, optimize and build email and SMS flows and create monthly performance reports that track results of each flow and outcome of A/B tests
  • Analyze and report on key KPIs including revenue, engagement and churn
  • Utilize Klaviyo analytics to optimize performance with a focus on engagement and revenue
  • Analyze campaign performance to help inform future promos and create recommendations to improve ROI
  • Develop and execute programmatic direct mail campaigns. Capture key learnings and report out results
  • Proactively identify, vet and implement opportunities to improve PH CRM programs based upon tech innovation and market trends
  • Act as PH point of contact and partner for CMS vendor partners Klaviyo and Attentive
  • When possible, design and draft copy for all email and SMS campaigns

Who we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer marketing.
  • 2+ years’ experience executing CRM (both email and SMS) campaigns in Klaviyo and Attentive that delivers ~>$50k in revenue per month.
  • 1+ year experience working in marketing/CRM for a consumer brand that generates >$25MM in gross revenue.
  • Experience copywriting for a consumer brand, preferably in email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience creating design assets for email, preferably in Canva.
  • Experience with packaged goods or healthcare brands a plus.
  • Experience working with Shopify.
  • Experience with list cleaning.
  • Experience with managing and maintaining a healthy email deliverability rate.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work well autonomously.
  • A motivated self-starter who is hungry to deliver results who genuinely enjoys taking both a creative and analytical approach to achieve goals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of problems and situations. Ability to communicate analysis effectively to a erse audience to gain alignment and make decisions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, nimble, results oriented culture.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
  • Graphic design and content creation experience a plus.
