Column6 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to drive the quality of the Supply-Side Platform and Ad Server and assess CTV products and features to ensure that quality standards are met. You will have the opportunity to build highly scalable applications and tools to support the fast-growing business.
The Opportunity
- Lead in the development of the end-to-end test to support high throughput/low-latency applications.
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, end to end integration and performance testing of those applications, performing root cause analysis on defects.
- Build test automation frameworks in a cloud native environment with modern container/IaC based applications and distributed data processing pipelines, on AWS.
- Solve interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of engineers
- Develop new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels
The Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience in software development. 3+ years' experience writing automated tests using languages such as Python, Java and Javascript.
- Experience in manual testing for newly developed features. Understanding in software development life cycle and bug reporting tools.
- Knowledge of web-based application development, REST API, OpenAPI, and tools like Swagger and Postman.
- Experience with test methodologies (Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development) and test frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber)
- Experience in SQL and relational databases. Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, EMR).
- Strong troubleshooting skills. Able to quickly understand a complex system.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to work in a dynamic environment.
What will set you apart
- Ad Tech experience is a big plus.
- Experience with cloud development and deployment (AWS, GCP)
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
