THE OPPORTUNITY Our client provides supply chain solutions for many of the world’s leading companies. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team designing, building and launching a supply chain visibility application that will shift and shape customer expectations for the next decade and beyond. Job Summary As part of a dedicated development team, you will work closely with our client’s Strategy and Innovation Team’s technical and product development staff as well as new and established technology providers. As a senior member of a small team of ~5 front-end developers, you will shape and support the full development lifecycle of the UI for this new business application. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team as well as be eager to stretch your capabilities towards new technologies and business domains. This role requires 7+ years of UI development experience delivering high quality, modern UIs. The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly and demonstrate a track record in solving complex problems and proposing solutions that build on initial ideas from the product team. Skills and Experience Required BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS
BS or BA in Computer Science or comparable work experience
7+ years of UI development experience delivering high quality, modern UIs
3+ years of experience working with JS Frameworks (Angular, ReactJs) using Flux patterns or RxJs
REQUIRED SKILLS
Developing applications using SCSS, SASS, LESS or other CSS Frameworks, experience with BEM naming convention is preferable
Reviewing code using Prettier, ESLint or equivalent tools
Implementing client-facing applications with responsive design and development
Consuming REST services
Applying security using JWT, OAuth, and other related technologies / standards
Using Typescript and working with reusable Types, Interfaces as well as generic Types
EXPERIENCE Able to demonstrate and speak to experience….
Developing and maintaining the front-end of enterprise grade systems
Supporting Agile software development methodologies
Generating and reviewing code collaboratively with team members
Designing and running unit tests
Annotating and documenting code
Mentoring developers and acting as a point of reference across the project
