Project
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, improving, and maintaining Looker in our client’s organization. This includes partnering and consulting with business and analytics teams to provide guidance and assistance in creating and streamlining Looker reports and underlying ETL pipelines. You’ll help develop and propagate best practices regarding both Looker applications and business intelligence across the company.
Responsibilities

  • Develop SQL based Looker code (LookML)

  • Troubleshooting existing model(s) errors

  • Optimization of reports performance (knowledge of using PDTs, caching policies, data aggregations)

  • Perform data quality audits around inconsistent data, incomplete data and rule violations

  • High level Looker maintenance (administration): monitor instance health, user roles management, troubleshooting errors reported by business users, configuring new models and data connections

  • Close cooperation with business users to understand reporting needs and support them with Looker usage
