The Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team. You will have a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced startup that is helping to solve some of the biggest challenges for the industrial workforce. In this role, you will build and maintain a suite of tests to assure continuous quality assurance across all WorkStep products. You will partner with the Engineering, Product, and WorkStep Leadership to provide a world-class customer experience for our preferred partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow agile testing methodologies to perform manual and automated testing
  • Develop test plans to cover all functional and non-functional requirements for a given project
  • Execute test plans to identify bugs, performance issues, missed acceptance criteria, etc.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to resolve bugs and verify fixes
  • Partner with product, engineering, and other stakeholders throughout the entire development lifecycle to champion a high degree of quality and ensure a solid definition of acceptance criteria

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a product focused QA Engineer
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies (testing cycles, plans, releases, etc.)
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks as well as CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and numeracy
  • Comfortable in a smaller rapidly evolving early stage start-up environment working remotely
  • Passion for the WorkStep mission

Preferred experience

  • Familiarity JavaScript (React) testing frameworks and tools
