Fully Remote Position:

This position is considered to be Fully Remote and work is done from another location outside of Phoenix Home Office (within the United States). Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote do not have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can expect to be asked to travel to Phoenix Home Office several times a year [or more], based on business needs and in partnership with leadership. Associates that are considered to be Fully Remote will acknowledge the Remote Work Agreement upon hire.

About the Job

The Email Campaign Specialist will work on the Loyalty & Personalization Operations team with one other campaign specialist as well as a team of Direct Marketing Managers, HTML developers, and database analysts to execute on all aspects of our Loyalty & Personalization strategy for email, SMS and push. The Campaign Specialist works on many different projects ranging from simple promotional emails to highly dynamic data driven automations with cross-channel orchestration.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Bring campaign deployment expertise to support and assist with day-to-day building of email campaigns which includes importing data, email quality assurance, getting approvals from internal stakeholders, making any necessary requirements, and deploying email
  • Review project requests from business stakeholders to determine how to implement using established processes and best practices, or scope production requirements
  • Work with campaign specialist and direct marketing managers to continuously develop campaign execution process to avoid errors and follow best practices
  • Implement cross-channel communications by delivering text messages and push notifications
  • Be the technical expert when it comes to SFMC know what can and can’t be done in terms of crafting an email, optimizing journeys within platform. Communicate capabilities to marketing partners to be able to better understand how emails should be crafted and developed.
  • Understand and analyze data to report to business partners
  • Help execute deployment of journeys in Journey Builder

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Information Technology or related degree
  • 2-4 years experience in the email marketing or interactive marketing industry desired.
  • Ideal candidate will excel at being a team worker, cool under pressure and focused on quality
  • Email deployment experience on SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Commitment to quality and delivering outstanding customer experiences and value
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively, understand directions and work independently
  • Experience with out-of-the-box and custom reporting in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge of SFMC journey creation and cross-channel communication optimization

The following capabilities are ideal, but not required:

  • Knowledge of HTML (email a major plus) and/or quality assurance for interactive campaigns
  • Knowledge of SQL, select statements including the operators where, join, and case
  • Web reporting and analytics experience
  • Solid knowledge of current email standards
