Position Summary:
Our company is looking to hire a mid level Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help with our testing efforts. This role will support all aspects of testing from manual testing, documentation, and automation as we continue to build out or testing suite.
This role will provide the opportunity to be a major part of a growing development team, as well as the chance to have a huge impact in the renewable energy industry.
Requirements
Duties will include:
- Work cross-collaboratively with the software development team and other departments to establish quality throughout the software development process.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create test cases.
- Identify, record, and document bugs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of automated tests.
- Maintain a solid understanding of QA workflows and test automation best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality within our development team, as well as the company.
- Collaborate within the QA team to determine best testing practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience creating and executing test cases on a manual testing team
- Experience with frontend test automation technologies – preferably Cypress
- Experience with creating/maintaining backend test collections of APIs utilizing postman, swagger, fiddler, or other tools
Benefits
- This role has a minimum base salary of $70,000. Actual salary offered will take into consideration years of experience, experience in industry, and relevant skill set.
