Alloy Automation (YC W20) is an ecommerce automation tool that’s like a more advanced version of Shopify Flow and Zapier. The platform is used by top brands like Italic and Burberry to automate all kinds of marketing and operations workflows.

About the role

We're looking for a talented HR / recruiting generalist who can tackle the challenge of doubling our team within a year. You should be energized by the prospect of defining and building up our culture with us, and elevating our brand as an employer.

What you’ll be doing

  • Help us hire an additional 20 people by the end of 2022 (technical and non technical roles)
  • Source, screen, cultivate, and close candidates, ie manage the full pipeline
  • Have a deep understanding of the inner workings of each team you partner with, and seek candidates who can keep up with the pace and style of work for that team
  • Help us set up an ATS to measure and manage our recruitment progress
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience
  • Help us widen our candidate reach and strengthen our brand as an employer, via updating the benefits package, jobs collateral, etc
  • Teach us why recruiting is so important and be a partner to everyone at Alloy

Skills & experience we're excited about

  • 3+ years of experience in any people ops role
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English
  • Startup experience (ie previously did recruiting or people ops at a <200 person company)
  • Understand and make good tradeoffs between costs and ROI (ie when it comes to recruiting events)
  • You know how to make the company attractive to new talent
  • You are metrics-driven and love to automate simple tasks to optimize the human experience
  • You are a true believer that the company culture is synonymous with hiring the right people
  • You know that recruiting should be treated as an integral part of growing a startup, and you’re passionate about that
  • Bonus Points: Experience with international recruitment
