Role Summary
As Pixieset's Junior QA Analyst, you are responsible for working with our Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to ensure that our products and platform are of the highest quality and reliability. On a daily basis you will perform user acceptance testing on features being released to our production environments and conduct manual and exploratory testing to ensure we only ship the best!
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our engineering team to ship high quality, bug-free features
- Create and execute manual test cases
- Browser and device testing of new features
- Report and investigate bugs discovered during testing and in production
- Adhere to industry standard best practices for software testing
- Contribute to technical support for our customer support team
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in QA
- Knowledge and experience using browser debugging tools
- Experience with manual testing web applications
- Tech-savvy, analytical, detail-oriented, and a keen eye for potential issues, bugs, and user pain points
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements and technical specifications
- Basic knowledge of technology development languages and database - asset
- Understanding of a photographer's workflow - asset
- Automation and coding experience - asset
- Experience testing APIs and backend systems - asset
