We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Engineer/Architect with a strong background in technical talent management and a preference for experience in government, non-profit, human services, child welfare services, court administration, or citizen-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Salesforce development and architecture, coupled with experience in software engineering and data management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Talent Management:
    • Manage and lead technical teams to ensure project success.
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop technical talent, ensuring a high-performance environment.
    • Salesforce Development and Architecture:
    • Design, implement, and manage Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability and optimal performance.
    • Develop custom solutions using APEX, VisualForce, and Salesforce APIs.
    • Architect and create Salesforce packages, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
      • Ensure Salesforce solutions are effectively integrated with other systems and databases.
  • Software Engineering:
    • Develop and manage software solutions using technologies such as NodeJS, SQLite, and Janet Lang.
    • Implement front-end solutions using frameworks like Tailwind.
    • Manage revision control, preferably with experience in Fossil SCM.
  • Data Management:
    • Manage ETL processes, ensuring accurate and secure data import/export.
    • Develop and implement data transfer protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining data integrity.
    • Experience with SQL and SOQL for database management and queries.
  • DevOps:
    • Implement and manage Docker containers and manage orchestration with tools like Traefik.
    • Ensure the security and backup protocols for all data and applications.
  • Government and Non-Profit Solutions (Preferred):
    • Experience in developing and implementing solutions for government and non-profit sectors, especially in areas related to human services, child welfare, court administration, and citizen-based solutions.
    • Ensure all solutions comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and develop Salesforce solutions accordingly.
    • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring solutions are understood and meet the intended needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven experience in managing technical talent and leading development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering, particularly in technologies like NodeJS, SQLite, and Janet Lang.
  • Experience in data management, including ETL and data transfer processes.
  • [Preferred] Experience in developing solutions for government and non-profit sectors, particularly in human services and citizen-based solutions.
