Job Description
Procore is looking for aManager of UX Web Designwho is passionate and eager to work in the fast-paced culture of a growing global brand. In this role, youll focus on creating unique experiences that delight our users through their web journey. You will support our web strategy by understanding our users’ needs and translating them into intuitive designs, validating them frequently during their path from concept to polished product. As a vital member of the web team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to realize our web strategy and help improve our user experience.
Procores marketing team is the driving force behind our global brand. They are responsible for creating demand, driving growth, and establishing Procore as the construction platform of choice through lasting relationships with customers, prospects, and partners. Procore marketing is the globally trusted voice to educate prospects and inspire clients, collaborators, and our ecosystem to champion meaningful change for the construction industry.
This position will report to our Director, Web and has the opportunity to work remotely in the US or be based in our Carpinteria, CA, or Austin, TX, office. Were looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
- Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artifacts for our marketing websites
- Work as an embedded member of a cross-functional agile web team, collaborating with Marketers, Product Managers, and Engineers to execute on the websites strategy and create solutions based on research
- Conduct generative research and usability tests
- Advocate for the user and evangelize user experience throughout the organization
- Promote a positive culture within your team, and overcome challenges through endurance, grit, and persistence
- Leverage the patterns, content, and solutions created by our Visual Design System, Content Strategy, and Brand teams
- Enhance both web visual and UX design by implementing iterative improvements, fueled by experimentation and insights from web analytics
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelors orMasters in graphic design, HCI, UX, a related area of study is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience designing world-class websites and apps with a strong portfolio of design work
- Advanced understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first design
- Strong aptitude for performing and synthesizing research, including contextual inquiry
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in leading design software such as Figma
- Extreme ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed in ambiguity
- Ability to design as a team, exploring and promoting new ideas, especially those that arent your own
- Youre self-aware and lead from a place of empathy
Additional Information
Base Pay Range $124,560-$171,270. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidates job-related skills, experience,educationor training, and location.
