Job Description
- Build infrastructure to power our customer-facing and internal analytics portals
- Build infrastructure to enable evaluation and reporting on product experiments
- Create secure patterns/practices for data systems
- Develop data quality monitoring systems to verify processing integrity
- Design and implement new backend features within an existing codebase
- Participate in the on-call rotation, investigate and resolve production issues
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional, backend software development experience with 1+ years working on data systems
- Excellent command of SQL and data modeling techniques
- Experience building synchronous and asynchronous workload systems
- Able to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly
- Experience working with complex, highly-interconnected data models
- Experience building data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
Bonus Skills:
- Experience working in multi-tenant data environments
- Experience with Fivetran, dbt, AWS-based infrastructure, Snowflake, Tableau, and/or Amplitude
- Experience building configuration-driven systems
- Experience developing within SOC2 security standards
- Demonstrated attention to detail
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience.
