Qencode, a growing cloud-native video services startup, is seeking a highly talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join us in our exciting journey to revolutionize the video technology landscape. We're currently working on a comprehensive Design Library Project aimed at streamlining our design process and enhancing user experience across our platform. If you're passionate about creating user-centric designs and have a knack for making digital products a delight to interact with, we want to hear from you!
This project provides an opportunity for you to leave a lasting impact on our company's products and customer satisfaction while working in a goal-oriented, fast-paced, and remote-friendly team alongside skilled and dedicated professionals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate proactively with the project lead, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and align project objectives
- Conduct UX analysis to create a deep understanding of target audience needs and expectations
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, guidelines, and specifications for each element in the design library
- Utilize modern UI/UX design principles, tools, and methodologies to enhance the user experience of our products
- Create prototypes, and user flows for new or iterated UI elements, patterns, and components
- Collaborate with developers during the implementation process, maintaining an open feedback loop for design improvements and optimization
- Be responsive to feedback and perform iterative design refinement, ensuring design alignment with company objectives and stakeholder requirements
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, and incorporate fresh ideas and best practices to keep our design library at the forefront of UX innovation.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the high-tech or video services industry
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional visual, interaction, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools (please share your preferred tools)
- Experience in responsive design, accessibility standards, and front-end frameworks
- Adept at handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on remote collaboration
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work setting
- Bonus: Knowledge or experience in video services, media storage, or content delivery
