Clarity AI brings societal impact to markets, and what that means to us is that we illuminate paths to a more sustainable world.

We do that by building-in a customizable, scalable sustainability tech kit to our clients existing workflows, which empowers them to efficiently and confidently assess, analyze and report on anything valuable to them or their clients and everything required by regulation.

We are a sustainability tech company, founded in 2017. We leverage AI and machine learning technologies to ensure sustainability dimensions are a focal point of decision making for professional investors, corporates and consumers..

In regards to financial markets, participants there have used ESG indicators (Environmental, Social and Governance) to evaluate dimensions of risk and impact. However, this kind of assessment is limited: it only considers how companies behave in these three dimensions but doesn’t consider the products and services the companies provide as part of their contribution, positive or negative, to society. Leveraging scientific research and the latest technologies, we provide decision makers with the most transparent, reliable and comprehensive capabilities and tools to assess, analyze and report on social and environmental impact.

Challenges for this role

Working as a Data Delivery Manager, your main responsibility will be to ensure success of data collection final outcomes, helping us scale and build the most complete and reliable database of sustainability information. To accomplish this, you will interface with vendors and internal teams for all data obtained through data collection efforts.

The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the mission of Clarity by improving and transforming processes and scaling data collection projects while working in a multicultural, flexible and fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Maximize performance of data collection vendors:

  • Increase data collection agencies performance in terms of quality and efficiency (SLAs definition, quality and efficiency KPI follow up, identify and implement improvement measures) based on monitoring of vendors efficiency and quality
  • Define and monitor quality and efficiency KPIs using business intelligence tools and Python/SQL

Optimize internal data research and data quality assurance efforts:

  • Define and ensure execution of internal efforts targets and scope
  • Maximize synergies of internal efforts in terms of increase of updated coverage and assess vendor quality to prevent overload of the internal team.

Drive the end to end delivery of collection of all data types (sustainability, funds and financial data):

  • Internally communicate how collection efforts transformed into company outcomes (% updated data points in product)
  • Create and maintain documented data standards and dictionaries, including how new data related are created, stored and labeled
  • Coordination with internal data teams to ensure alignment between data collection deliveries and Clarity AI data platform
  • Support the execution of the technical data delivery

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Bachelor/University level degree (computer engineer, financial engineer, finance, economics, accounting, or similar field of study)
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience (ESG-related experience is highly preferred)
  • Intermediate level of SQL and Python
  • Expertise in driving vendor performance reporting and creating dashboards with BI tools (Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Good understanding of outsourcing models, delivery guidelines and processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation/oral communication skills
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and priorities.
  • Highly motivated and independent

 

This position can be based in Madrid or London. Remote opportunities are available as well.
