The Problems You’ll SolveAs a Software Engineer II (E3) at Carta, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and design of our world-class compensation solution. In this role, you will be responsible for more complex components and features of the product. You will work towards becoming a subject matter expert in your area, sharing your knowledge and insights with the team, and contributing significantly to the technical strategy of the product.Key Responsibilities:* Take responsibility for the overall architecture and design of key product components.* Actively become a subject matter expert in your designated area, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable language.* Lead the technical strategy for medium to large components of the product, driving their implementation and ensuring alignment with business goals.* Write clean, efficient, and robust code employing relevant design patterns and best practices.* Operate with increased autonomy, requiring less guidance, and efficiently manage your workload.* Participate in the team’s on-call process if applicable, demonstrating reliability and problem-solving skills.* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, upholding high standards in code quality and delivery.
