Why we're looking for you
With enormous growth and sales consistently beating quotas, we need our first Legal and Compliance Officer to help build and scale all aspects of the legal and compliance function. Our product is at the intersection of banking and finance and this role will help advise our internal teams and customers on risk management as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
No two days will be the same. You'll work on project teams, directly engage with financial institutions to understand needs, answer questions, and advise on product development. As an early member of the the team, you'll also help design and write policies and procedure to make our sales, product, and implementation team even more successful.
You will be required to be an expert in regulations and laws impacting community, regional and national banks and financial institutions.

In this role you'll
* Establish policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
* Discuss with various stakeholders how our product solves for their needs and provide recommendations.* Master how to use our internal tools to be able to deploy out-of-the-box as well as tailored solutions* Collaborate witfh customers, understand their problems, and advise customers on how to successfully implement our product from a compliance lense* Participate in weekly calls with product, design, engineering, and customer success teams to provide legal/compliance updates, answer questions, and ask questions to help our team continue to build and deliver on our mission to help financial institutionsThe skillset you bring
* J.D. Degree preferred but not required
* Experience working with large Enterprise or institutional customers* Strong knowledge of how financial products and services work will help but not necessary* Previous experience talking with customers and solving their problems* Ability to think on your feet, and solve problems during calls with stakeholders* Enjoy writing, researching, and advising teams",
