Title: Senior-System Engineer
Location: Dallas Texas United States
Senior System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to translate the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack.
This is a hands-on role that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service. Design, develop, document and analyze technology system maximizing the reuse of target state platforms such as APIs, UI/UX integration, cloud IaaS and PaaS components, and virtual private cloud (VPC/VNET) Platforms.
Provide solution engineering in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) leveraging approved IaaS/PaaS components and Platform design patterns to integrate and operationalize data product applications and Services. Oversee the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support, such as Troubleshooting, and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories. Provided estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software Interactions. Create and execute automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements. Worked with engineers/architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, designed and implemented code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Utilize the following programming languages, cloud technologies, management tools open source, control Kits, and operating systems: python, C++ Web, Ajax, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, Node.Js, JQuery, React.JS , Awsec2, DynamoDB, EKS, EMR, S3, and RDS Configuration, Ansible , Chef CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure IAM and LAW, Open Source: WSO2, Terraform version control tools: Git, CodeCloud, Bitbucket, Jira, Windows, and Linux.
Requirements:
- Requires a Master s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science and one (1) Year of experience in the job offered or one (1) Year of experience in translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack;
