We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our Commercial Department. This role is hybrid and will be split between our new offices in Reading and remote working.

Volta Trucks is a leading and disruptive full-electric commercial vehicle manufacturer and services company. Volta Trucks has offices in Sweden, France and the UK and is establishing itself across Europe and North America. The first full-electric prototype Volta Zero was launched in September 2020 and is now engaged on a series of customer events and roadshows throughout Europe, and planning US activity in late 2022. The first pre-production vehicles were built in late 2021 ahead of the start of series production in early 2023.

We're creating the world's safest commercial vehicles by reimagining conventional truck design principles, thanks to our full-electric drivetrain, and thus protecting vulnerable road users. The BI Analyst will report to Head of fleet Operations will closely collaborate with internal teams and will support the need and requirement of the Strategy team.
What you will do:

  • Establish and maintain a market observatory for each country.
  • Registrations by market on monthly basis, deviation analysis with last years, multidimensional analysis.
  • Running population follow up by country on a yearly basis
  • Data collection budget follow up.
  • Liaise with external suppliers (data, dashboard).

We would like you to have:

  • Knowledge of and experience in the automotive world would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Ability to work autonomously in the fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment of a start-up
  • Fluency in English essential, additional languages; especially French and German, would be an advantage.
  • Have technical and product knowledge of the truck market.
  • CRM experience ideally Salesforce
  • Advanced Excel skills
