Summary
Yelp’s User Operations department is looking for a Quality Assurance professional that will be responsible for identifying quality improvements of Yelp business page data through quality assessments and initiatives.
This inidual will be expected to have (or quickly develop) an in-depth knowledge of Yelp business page policy and front-end product flows on all platforms.
This role works closely with the Yelp moderation team and requires project management work with a team that sits overseas. This role is remote and reports to a User Operations Manager.

What you’ll do:
- Responsible for running monthly quality reporting
- Drive key performance metrics for Quality Assurance Team and ensure team stays on track with deliverables
- Run data quality calibration sessions here at Yelp and with Quality Assurance Teams
- Identify and derive opportunities to improve product (frontend and backend) from quality reporting
- Identify internal product and process issues stemming from QA data analysis and share with stakeholders for next steps
- Responsible for data quality project initiatives & facilitating internal data inquiries
- Work on ad-hoc partnership data escalations
- Own and run data projects with overseas team
- Leveraging tools such as Splunk, Tableau & SQL for data gathering and reporting
What it takes to succeed:
- BS/BA degree
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality-driven role
- Excellent presentation, communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to tell stories with data using qualitative and high-level analysis

- Compensation for this position is $40,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
