About the role
You will propose and drive innovation to improve Crunchyrolls fansexperience worldwide across team members and teams. You will partner with Business Development, Engineering and Product teams to establish the Crunchyroll games system platform. You will ensure games studios have access to best in class developer experience. This is an entrepreneurial environment and you must like to solve complex problems with competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance partner needs. You’re able to take complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver. High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
In the role of Director, Game Systems Integration, you will report to the VP of Technology Partnerships and R&D.

About the Team
The Technology Partnerships team at Crunchyroll plays a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding our users’ experiences. We collaborate extensively with a erse network of device, payment, and gaming partners to broaden the reach of Crunchyroll’s offerings. Our primary objective is to drive growth, open up new acquisition channels, and optimize both the scope and quality of our services. Situated at the crossroads of technology and business, we are dedicated to enabling experiences that delights our members.
About Game Systems: our goal is to enable games studios to seamlessly integrate and launch their greatest hits on Crunchyroll. You will lead a team of engineers to build and operate the product and infrastructure enabling the games developer platform. This includes features like authentication, cloud saves, leaderboards, achievements, and social capabilities.This also includes core technologies like Web API and developer environments.
