As a Certified Paralegal you will provide exceptional support to our legal team.

You will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Your extensive corporate background, coupled with your proficiency in word processing and strong understanding of legal filing and claims processes will be invaluable in providing comprehensive support. You will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting legal research, reviewing legal documents, managing complex filing systems, and facilitating and managing submission of claims. In this role, you will get to:

Collaborate closely with our attorneys and accounting professionals, as you assist the legal team in gathering and reviewing information in response to subpoenas and other information requests with accuracy and timeliness. Your role may extend to performing legal research, performing contract review and other tasks to support the legal department, assisting with work flow management for the legal department.

Showcase your exceptional writing and word processing skills as you draft and edit legal documents and communications on behalf of the legal department, ensuring c proper formatting and a quick turnaround.

For this role, you will have:

5 10 years’ experience as a paralegal, with a bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, and preferably experience at a large law firm.

Corporate law department experience, including experience with legal review and drafting, calendar management, legal research, licensing management (i.e. Secretary of State and state board licensing), claims management.

Strong word processing experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office resources (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with Adobe PDF software and related scanning and production utilities.

The ability to build positive professional relationships and you will be detailed, accurate, and possess an ability to handle confidential information.
