Kimberly-Clark’s Global Business Services (GBS) operates across 5 sites with 1000+ employees globally. Business functions/processes within the GBS scope include Record-to-Report, Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Treasury Operations, FP&A Operations COE, Master Data Management, Real Estate and Facilities Management. GBS is focused on developing its business partnership capabilities through expanding service offerings for the business across core and enabling services and enhancing partner experience; with the intent to deliver cost savings to the enterprise by reducing complexity, delivering services more efficiently and effectively, and freeing up capacity to enable business teams to focus on growing our business profitably.

Role Accountabilities:

This role takes work direction from the Associate Director, GBS Operational Excellence and is responsible to support the creation, enhancement or maintenance of the GBS Service Management processes, content, capabilities and governance with specific focus on GBS Operational Excellence.

The role works closely with the leaders across GBS including the Transformation Services team, GBS Extended Leadership Team, Regional Process Leaders, Change & Communication Hub and Operational Excellence Teams – with specific direction from the Associate Director of Operational Excellence and/or Service Management Analyst

  • Support the creation, enhancement, or maintenance associated with the GBS service catalogs, tools, and repositories
  • Track and/or report Op Ex initiatives
  • Provide periodic support to onboard / train new GBS leaders and/or 3rd party partner resources
  • Embrace new technologies, tools, application and know-how as needed for GBS
  • Support ad-hoc assignments across the GBS TOPS Team (Transformation Services, Operational Excellence, Process, and Strategy
  • Support the preparation of the four GBS regional Business Continuity Plans
    • Verification and documentation of data for BCP updates
    • Work closely with the GBS BCP leader to establish on-going update processes
  • Administrative Lead
    • Centralize the review of and grant access, as applicable, to GBS systems (Celonis, IDM asks, etc) – a new service offering for the broader GBS Team
    • Prepare or proof Op Ex presentations (monthly reporting for our leadership ppts, presentations completed for new project / intake discussions)

  • Advanced skills in MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication
