We're seeking a talented Sr. Product designer to bring unique and memorable output combining form and function. The ideal candidate will elevate the quality of our work and bring a wide array of skillsets. We're looking for passion and product design thinking with the ability to execute on high visual expectations. Designers at Luminos Labs consistently deliver on complex work, are stewards of the customer experience, have a firm understanding of digital commerce best practices, and leverage their expertise to improve process.
Responsibilities
Utilize your deep knowledge to design and deliver high quality output (including wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of industries.
Participate in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorms.
Apply your design thinking and execution skills throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Collaborate with and support cross-functional teams, including strategists, solution architects, technical leads, developers, and client stakeholders.
Qualifications
A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills.
Strong ability to deliver compelling design rationale in both client and internal contexts.
4-6 years of product design experience at a digital product agency or consultancy.
Understanding of digital commerce best practices and customer experiences.
Deep experience in prototyping and interaction design.
Proficiency in modern tooling: Figma, Adobe Suite... Bonus points for interaction design skills (think After Effects, Principle, or Framer, Origami).
Motivated by feedback and the opportunity to improve the work and how you come together as a team.
Fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple user interface.
A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
