Job Description:

RVIVAL is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our team in launching our ecommerce website. If you have experience in ecommerce website development and Shopify integration, and you're passionate about crafting engaging user experiences, we want to hear from you. As a UI/UX Designer at RVIVAL, you will have a crucial role in shaping the user interface and experience of our ecommerce website, a pivotal element of our startup's journey. Your expertise will be instrumental in translating our brand identity into an appealing web design that enhances functionality and helps expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, surveys, and user testing to understand user needs and behaviors.

• Use insights to guide design decisions and prioritize the user experience.

• Apply your ecommerce website development expertise to optimize the shopping experience.

• Seamlessly integrate Shopify into the web platform to ensure efficient ecommerce functionality.

• Contribute to the success of our inaugural ecommerce website, from concept to launch.

• Transform our brand book and visual identity into an engaging and resonant web design.

• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design concepts and user flows.

• Create visually appealing and consistent user interfaces, focusing on typography, color schemes, iconography, and layout principles.

• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and refine designs.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with project goals and technical requirements.

• Maintain design documentation, style guides, and design assets to facilitate smooth collaboration and development.

• Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to ensure innovative and relevant designs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design work and processes, including previous ecommerce projects and Shopify integration.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices is a plus.
