As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have an immense impact on Lancey as we continue to grow our company and technology. Your goal will be to create valuable customer interactions for customers, improving the quality and execution of our development teams, and by helping us solve some exciting technical challenges across all of Engineering.

About you:

* 2+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role with experience in writing software for distributed systems using one of these languages: typescript, python, go, java, scala etc.

* Experience defining architectural direction and leading execution on technical decisions.* Experience with the design and architecture of scalable applications and APIs* Strong understanding of non-relational databases such as MongoDB and in-memory stores such as Redis.* Understanding of distributed cloud systems architecture and relevant technologies.

In this role, you will:

* Execute on our product roadmap while ensuring engineering excellence through a combination of mentorship of other engineers and hands-on development work.

* Be accountable along with the team for the quality and resilience of the services maintained.* Help build the team alongside the founders
