As the first Product Design hire at PermitFlow, you will work with the CTO and engineering team to lead and execute design and strategy of PermitFlow's product experience. We are the leading construction permit application software for builders. Our current team consists of engineers from Uber, Amazon, Stripe, NerdWallet, Harvard, Stanford, and more.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Engineering, Permit Operations, and Executive Teams to design internal and customer-facing applications
* Run user research sessions, usability testing sessions, and product analysis for actionable insight* Plan and design interactive wireframes of new features and visual assets needed to implement those features* Assess existing UX architecture and identify areas for improvement* Iterate on features and edits to drive adoption and customer satisfaction* Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to produce sales collateral* Head and contribute to branding and material on the customer marketing website and PermitFlow software* Help us design a really amazing permitting product that is not only beautiful, but works and scalesRequirements
* 4+ years of experience with UX/UI Design
* Experience with Figma and Adobe product suite* Experience building beautiful and inspiring product design experiences that help users discover and connect with resources they need* Self-starter mentality and relentless will to never settle* Portfolio of at least 3 successfully completed projects* You don’t cut corners and you build beautiful product designs that are polished and contribute seamlessly to user experienceBonus Points
* Experience with construction and/or building permits
