Role and Responsibilities:
As a Product Designer / Senior UI/UX Designer at Zavo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our dashboard and website, ensuring they reflect our commitment to innovation and user empowerment. You will lead and mentor a talented design team, overseeing their work and fostering a collaborative and creative environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading Design Strategy: Develop and drive the design strategy for our dashboard and website, aligning it with Zavo's mission and user needs.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs and fostering professional growth.
User-Centric Design: Champion user-centered design principles throughout the design process, ensuring that the end product meets and exceeds user expectations.
Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Prototyping and Iteration: Create interactive prototypes and iterate on design concepts based on user feedback and usability testing.
Design Excellence: Maintain a high standard of design excellence, continuously raising the bar for visual and interactive design quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in product design and UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and impactful projects.
Leadership experience, preferably in overseeing design teams or projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in fintech or related industries is a plus.
