Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding and managing their extensive data pipeline. Their organization is powered by dozens of integrations importings huge amounts of real-time data and processing it at high speeds. This powers their trading, accounting, and automated strategies.Responsibilities
- Expand and manage an extensive data pipeline
- Build systems to ingest and normalize huge real-time data sets
- Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information
- Build, test and maintain data pipeline architectures
- Create new data validation methods and data analysis tools
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or mathematics
- Experience working with big data in a real-time setting
- Experience building and maintaining data infrastructure
