We're looking for a Senior Database Developer who enjoys working directly with clients solving complex problems. As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with our clients performing database design and architecture responsibilities. You'll create database tables, stored procedures and functions, analyze performance and optimize stored procedures. You'll occasionally perform DMA duties and handle database migrations as well.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- API development using Microsoft .Net as a secondary duty
- Proposing solutions using best practices
- Debugging issues and fixing bugs
- Estimating the tasks and preparing plan for development
- Unit testing the code
- Mentoring Fellow Team Members is a Plus
Required Skills:
- 7+ years experience database development experience including building and integrating data at client sites with expertise in SQL Server 2014 or higher, complex T-SQL stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions
- Consulting experience with comfort communicating with all levels of stakeholders including executives, application developers, business users, and customers
- Drive requirements gathering sessions with business and technical staff to distill technical requirements from business requests.
- Documentation and design documentation experience, allowing complex concepts to be communicated clearly
