Unwired Logic, an established IT consulting company based in Tokyo, Japan, is expanding its operations in SE Asia and Australia and has recently set up operations in Bali, Indonesia. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Application Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer with a strong background in web application development.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Lead the development and implementation of web applications using React.js, Node.js, and RESTful API.

Create and maintain robust and scalable front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Build and optimize efficient database structures using DynamoDB.

Ensure the security and integrity of data through proper design and development practices.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and contribute to project planning and execution.

Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Must Have Skills:

Proficiency in React.js and Node.js, with a strong understanding of modern web development principles and best practices.

Extensive experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to create responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.

Solid understanding of database concepts, particularly in DynamoDB.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and propose effective solutions.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, Cognito, and Amplify.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Redux, Angular, or Vue.js.

Previous experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.

Requirements:

Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written with the project team and occasionally customers.  Knowledge of the languages such as Bahasa or Japanese a plus.

Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose creative solutions.

High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in project documentation and reporting.

Passion for technology and intellectual curiosity to stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in the IT industry.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a supportive work culture.

Must possess valid working visa for Indonesia.
