About the Role

Swayable is searching for a VP of Sales to join our growing Sales team. This is a key role responsible for executing sales strategy to grow our SaaS business. You will be engaging with senior leaders at major global brands and agencies to help them reach and inspire their ideal audiences. 

Swayable is a fast-growing, cloud analytics product that measures public opinion and the impact of messages and advertising content on it. Its 30-person team is backed by top technology and social impact investors, including Y Combinator. Founded in 2018 by two physics PhDs, it is led by the former Executive Director for Digital Strategy at the New York Times. Clients include major consumer-facing brands (Airbnb, Square, Paramount Pictures, Amazon), researchers (MIT, Yale, Stanford) and mission-aligned advocacy campaigns (including multiple Democratic Presidential candidates).

Responsibilities

* Drive key revenue and performance goals and drive team process towards exceeding them 

* Track key revenue metrics to optimize deal closing and training efforts
* Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive company-wide initiatives and platform enhancements to fuel revenue growth
* Act as the hands-on Coach to lead  a growing team of Account Executives, establishing a high standard of performance
* Be directly involved in closing new business opportunities to ensure revenue goals are met
* Continue to develop standard revenue operations processes that can be scaled across Swayable 
* Leverage sales enablement and training programs to train Account Executives; use a variety of methods and technologies to empower your team
* Configure revenue operations technology and automation to maintain a seamless system that drives every stage of the sales funnel 
* Optimize the sales process and tactics to ensure maximum productivity by removing friction from the sales process
* Work closely with the Demand Generation team on pipeline development

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

* 7-10+ years of proven success in a sales management capacity at a SaaS startup company 

* Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer problems, create business insights, develop actionable recommendations and tell stories based on data sets
* Experience driving change and new process across a Sales organization and in collaboration with multiple stakeholders across disciplines
* Experience selling into and navigating agency, media company, and enterprise procurement process
* Experience with deploying sales enablement process and in-field coaching technologies to support a comprehensive sales training program
* Strong relationships and robust network of prospective clients, with experience in building, selling to, servicing and growing a top-tier client roster
* Ability to package and sell an integrated suite of offerings across services, products, and activation; closing deal sizes north of six figures and into 7 figures
* Demonstrated ability to understand complex enterprise technologies, their customer value, and potential objections 
* Intellectually curious, motivated, and driven by a passion to learn
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you are an expert at persuasion
* Organized, system-oriented, and meticulous 
* Data-driven with experience in crafting measurement strategies to ensure goals are being met
* Experience in data platforms or analytics markets a plus
* Interest in advocacy a plus
* A passion for Insights and the science behind them

Location

* Our team is centered in New York, NY and San Francisco, CA with flexible work arrangements for remote work
