For the role of Manager, Data Partnership, we expect that you have gained relevant experience in building the global Data Partner network with new and existing Data Partners relationships, particularly in the European market. Moreover, you utilize your experience in negotiating terms and closing agreements with Data Partners as a crucial part of the successful execution. Additionally, as the Data Partnerships Manager, you take ownership of the Data Partner relationships toward data readiness and successful Real-World Data customer projects in close collaboration with the Data Science team. Partnerships allowing searchability and data access are essential to the business of Data Science where BC Platforms offer pharma/CRO companies opportunities to realize their Real-World Data strategies and improve the productivity and pipelines for drug development.

Expectations for your role:

• Searching and recruiting new Data Partners to join BCRQUEST.com network covering Europe on large scale, also other geographical areas upon the need

• Upscaling existing Data Partner contracts into Tiered Architecture / Strategic Data Partnerships

• Negotiation of terms and closing agreements with Data Partners

• Further develop and apply the BC Platforms global Data Partner strategy and goals to European markets

• Working closely with the Data Science Project Management function to develop the Data Partnerships toward rapid data readiness

• Partnership management for full maturation of the Data Partner account, which may include engagement with the BC Platforms sales team

• Ability to influence and drive partner responsiveness within a collaborative business structure

• Bachelors in Life Sciences or other industry-relevant, an advanced degree preferred, or equivalent previous work experience

• Preferred experience working with CRO or in drug development, with emphasis on the use of RWD in drug research

• Working knowledge of general healthcare data regulations (HIPAA); knowledge of GDPR and other national regulations is an advantage

• Strong skills in partnership management, including the ability to set and achieve shared business targets through a balanced scorecard approach

• Minimum 5 years experience in the Life Sciences field

• Demonstrated experience in partnership management

• Experience with working effectively and collaboratively within an academic environment is a clear benefit

• Excellent communication skills in dealing with people at all levels inside and outside of the company

• Proactive approach and strong follow-up skills

• Fluency in English and German. Other languages are appreciated.

• Travel expected, including international travel, up to 10-20% of the time. The travels are expected to escalate once the Covid19 regulation has complied.

• Virtual office location: Munich with a remote working model.
