Requirements
We are on the hunt for an NLP data scientist with experience in advanced text analytics to help us enhance and enrich our demand intelligence platform. This can be a Remote Opportunity in New Zealand or work from our office in Auckland - you can live anywhere in New Zealand with access to solid WIFI, and work remotely from the comfort of your home office. Candidates will need to reside in New Zealand with full-working rights.
You will be using the latest techniques such as modern NLP algorithms, machine learning modelling and advanced statistical modelling to solve complex problems within a cutting-edge development environment. Working closely with our data scientists and data analysts, and within a cross-functional team to solve complex problems using both data science and intelligent analytical solutions. This exciting opportunity will see the solutions you help create being integrated directly into our product and being used by many of the world’s most recognisable companies.
You will be working within a business that is focused on a shared vision of growing globally and continuing to deliver a unique platform across a ersified set of customers. This role will be immensely rewarding and you will be working alongside an experienced and passionate team who have been involved in starting up businesses that now employ hundreds of staff across the world.
A Data Scientist at PredictHQ will:
- R&D advanced machine learning algorithms, advanced analytical modelling, and NLP models to deliver, enhance and enrich our demand intelligence features and products
- Build large-scale NLP solutions from researching a prototype to production
- Proactively enhance and improve current intelligence features and models
- Work with data and dev teams to deliver data intelligence
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
- 2 years in a data scientist role with Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science background
- Experience in building large-scale NLP solutions from researching a prototype to production
- Essential skills include critical thinking, NLP techniques, machine learning algorithms, and analytical programming
- Essential technical skills in SQL and Python
- Must have experience of R&D in data science
