At Expero, we build complex software in challenging domains for expert users; scientists, traders and engineers. Expero’s main base is in Houston & Austin, Texas but we’re a remote friendly company with teams spread around the US and developers in the Canary Islands, Argentina, and Romania.
We're looking for a QA Engineer that enjoys building frameworks that move towards 100% automated testing of complex applications. Testing fast, complex systems serving a plethora of requests are some of the types of challenges you'll face. Finding innovative solutions to test large and small applications is what gets your quality assurance juices going. Our applications are deployed across various environments, from monolithic frameworks to microservices. We're looking for people that thrive under these types of conditions. Requirements
Ideally, you have experience with most of these
- Automation testing
- Cypress, Mocha, Jest, Jenkins
- Establishing test frameworks and best practices in testing
- Writing scripts, test plans, test cases
- Set patterns and design
- Languages/Scripting: Python, Node.js, Bash, Shell, etc.
- Clear and repeatable test documentation writing
- Troubleshoot test failures in the test environments: various databases, web server and application server logs, code reviews, UAT, regression
- Black-box, grey-box, white-box
