Dir Infrastructure & Information Security

The Director of Infrastructure and Information Security is responsible for providing direction, leadership, and governance to teams responsible for all aspects of our networking, computer and storage infrastructure across our data center and cloud instances. This role takes leadership responsibilities in partnering with key vendor partners across our data center host, cyber operations partner and core infrastructure operations partner. The team includes infrastructure and security engineers as well as system administrators in addition to partner resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee delivery of projects associated with modernizing our technology and improving the scale of our systems, in partnership with our software product teams and their associated goals.
  • Oversee all infrastructure and information security processes, controls, performance metrics, and associated continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Select enabling technology for infrastructure and information security needs.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to establish/maintain all architectural aspects of the company’s infrastructure and cyber maturity.
  • Define/grow cyber maturity program inclusive of assessments, frameworks and prioritized improvements
  • Establish/maintain strategic vendor relationships integral to the team’s success in meeting/exceeding company expectations.
  • Hold managed service provider accountable for achieving SLAs aligned to enterprise information delivery.
  • Own cybersecurity incident response plan.
  • Propose staffing structures with a focus on optimizing scale, cost, quality and speed.
  • Ensure uptime of critical systems using proper redundancy, monitoring, and proactive problem management/maintenance.
  • Set team goals aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and attainment oversight for enterprise information management cost centers.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 12+ years’ proven experience in enterprise information engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of global corporate programs (cloud migrations, technology stack upgrades, cyber programs, etc).
  • Experience designing solutions in accordance with tiering model for cost and performance considerations.
  • Experience with enterprise cybersecurity responsibilities.
  • Experience working with large cloud providers and managed service providers.
  • Management experience within an equivalent-sized organization.

  • Ability to build trusting, significant relationships with peers and partners, both internal and external.
  • Excellent track record in collaboration.
  • Skilled in cloud iAAS and pAAS design principles with a focus on scale, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones serving country-level unique business needs.
  • Skilled in CICD technologies and concepts.
  • Skilled in vulnerability and threat management assessments.
  • Ability to develop an infrastructure technology roadmap.
  • Be open to continuous learning and committed to ongoing self-improvement.
  • Initiate and participate in interpersonal efforts to improve overall group productivity and test effectiveness. Contribute to overall test strategies.

Business Travel

  • This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other iniduals in person and electronically.

Pay and Benefits

For Washington State or jurisdictions that require the publication of salary ranges, the full base salary range for this position is $156,135 – $260,225. For this position, new hires generally start between $156,135 – $200,000. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allow us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, inidual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. In addition, Short-Term and Long-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Inidual performance.
