The Role at a Glance

This position will manage a team and processes for their assigned area(s) of responsibility of IT Security Access administration. They manage and provide leadership and structure to the administrative portion of the IT Identity and Access Management team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitors the performance of the IT Security Administration team, which includes ensuring assigned work is completed, providing feedback and identifying training needs
  • Maintains service level objectives for operational delivery requirements within their assigned areas of Security Administration.
  • Establishes and implements inidual and team priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure completion of responsibility for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Manages and evaluates inidual/team performance and takes appropriate action to meet and/or exceed performance standards for assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Serves as a resource to team members and internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures IT Security Administration resources maintain compliance and adherence with corporate security controls and standards.
  • Manages and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members and gives honest and open feedback to aid in the development of talent.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Ensures that top talent is hired and retained for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for Privileged Management, Identity Management and operational provisioning.

What we’re looking for

  • 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experince
  • 3 – 5+ Years experience in IT security administration that directly aligns to the responsibilities of this role, including 2+ years of supervisory, managerial, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required)
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience driving successful teams
  • Technical background preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.
  • Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Agile Mindset; awareness/understanding of Agile methodologies (Preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge in various technologies including but not limited to: Active Directory, Azure, Windows, Linux/Unix, Mainframe, Privileged Access Management Tools.

Pay Range: $75,701 – $140,700

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and inidual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
