Introduction
Dtravel is a peer-to-peer vacation rental ecosystem empowering the world to travel without the need for centralized marketplaces or third-parties. Driven by a passionate community, Dtravel is built on the Nite Protocol and powered by its native token, TRVL.
Dtravel’s decentralized physical network of bookable properties is a progressive alternative to centralized marketplaces. Rather than becoming another intermediary, Dtravel provides vacation rental operators and travelers with the infrastructure to facilitate peer-to-peer bookings.
Dtravel is looking for an experienced Community Manager with a knack for cultivating vibrant communities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of token marketing, community engagement and growth.
Candidate must be a native English speaker and based in Asia, Europe, North or South America.
Responsibilities
- Continuously find ways to attract new members to Dtravel’s Discord and Telegram, ensuring active engagement. Aim for daily increases in both community membership and message activity.
- Search for posts on platforms like X, Facebook, Reddit, etc., that express frustration or dislike for OTAs like Airbnb, and share them in Discord and Telegram to spark discussions and create a sense of camaraderie amongst members.
- Share listings powered by Dtravel on Discord and Telegram regularly to encourage conversation and excitement. Highlight the incredible stays that are being added to the Dtravel network with new community members.
- Test new forms of community engagement including activities, polls, contests, etc.
- Suggest bots or tools that may support community growth and engagement.
- Comment on X posts and engage with users on X, driving discussions about Dtravel and TRVL.
- Look for mentions of Dtravel and TRVL on X, interact with these posts, and keep the conversation going. Find mentions of Dtravel and TRVL published by influencers on X and share them to Discord and Telegram to energize the community.
- Perpetuate the token economics of TRVL within the Dtravel ecosystem.
- Interact with communities on X and introduce their followers to what TRVL does. Create relevant content to drive engagement, excitement and growth to the project X accounts.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of marketing/community management experience within the crypto and blockchain space. Experience in hospitality and travel is an asset. Passion for travel is a must.
- Native level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Proven track record of token marketing and managing web3 communities.
- Intuitive understanding for growth hacking, meme and viral content culture.
- Deep understanding for driving engagement and growth across social media platforms specifically X (Twitter).
- Self-driven and strong sense of ownership.
