Chemours is seeking a Global Human Resource Systems Manager to join our dynamic HR Operations team! This position will report directly to the Director of HR Operations and can be based remotely within the US due to the time zone needs but we want to be flexible. Our HR systems, their ease of use and ability to support data analytics is a key strategic imperative for Chemours. This is the moment for us to advance our HR systems in order to:

More fully utilize manager self-service by simplification of systems, tools and processes

Increase data integrity to drive insights, dashboards and automation tools that help us action organizational goals (ESG, manning models, fatigue, etc.)

This will require:

  • The relentless pursuit of continuous improvement driving refreshing simplicity into all HR systems, dashboards and tools including but not limited to Workday and Kronos
  • Boundless energy identifying root cause issues and then implementing sustainable solutions ranging from simplifying processes, creating QRGs/education to automation
  • Listening to the voice of the customer, collaborating across HR and Chemours leadership to design and build solutions that creatively deliver on customer needs
  • A visionary who can picture how our systems will integrate with broader Chemours initiatives (e.g. Chemours Data Works) and build a strategy for our HR systems that will drive the choices we make in regards to effort and investment
  • Ability to remain undeterred in the face of challenge and a high level of comfort and expertise with governance and change management

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting Chemours strategy, leads the development of HR technology and systems projects, while ensuring the strategy, objectives and roadmap are aligned with the overall vision of HR Operations and HR as a whole
  • Plans and builds a technology systems roadmap that integrates all vendors, technologies, and systems with company software systems/initiatives to maximize process efficiency and employee experience
  • Provide leadership and guidance to functional consultants and technical developers to develop and implement HR systems inside the Employee Life Cycle
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders and stakeholders from the People team, business/functional teams and centers of excellence on key system design and process decisions
  • You are a master collaborator in this role, you’ll collaborate to support the business unit or function along with other human resources teams/members (including Business HR and COEs) and with business leaders/teams to develop technology solutions that improve performance and anticipate business needs
  • You help establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand and address the tech needs of the organization in the areas of the Employee Life Cycle
  • Implements talent management systems and drive data consistency in cooperation with HR management and based upon priorities set through partnerships and project owners
  • Drive new releases from start to end: ensure governance, change management, project management capabilities and framework are being used for releases, change tickets, and projects, manage the re-release center, implement new configuration and coordinate test efforts across the HR organization when needed
  • Partner with HR functional leads in Talent Development, Performance and Goals Management to drive best practice business processes leveraging system capabilities
  • Serve as steward of user experience; monitor system adoption and user feedback; ensure the development of tools, support materials, and training to maximize system adoption and leverage for all technologies
  • Oversee change requests from HR and IT to ensure that the scope of each approved project is executed with high quality and follows governance framework and processes
  • Oversees and drives accountability & excellence in both performance and cost of third-party vendors and leads RFP (request for proposal process) as needed
  • Remain up to date on innovations within Workday, Kronos and other HR Technologies
  • Working knowledge of tools such as prism, discovery boards, Alteryx, power BI, tableau, etc. to the extent to know the best tool for the job or what is possible
  • Leads and develops the HR systems team to advance capabilities and ensures goals and priorities are clear, leveraging internal resources on the most impactful work

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in HR Technology systems (Workday, SAP HCM, Success Factors)
  • 2 years of previous leadership experience
  • 2 years of project implementation experience
  • Strong project management, change management, presentation, and facilitation skills required
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and provide options
  • Ability to talk about data to stakeholders and provide guidance during critical times
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in one or more HR systems within specialty areas like Payroll, People Development, Career Development, Succession Planning, Performance and Goals Management

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI
  • Proficiency with Workday systems

Pay Range (in local currency): $134,400.00 – $210,000.00

Chemours Level: 28
Annual Bonus Target: 16%
