Who are we?

Resquared is a Y-Combinator company building the first marketing and sales platform for reaching local businesses. In the past year we graduated from YC, grew our revenue 10x, raised $3M, and scaled our team from 5 to 30+.

What problem are we solving?

Selling to small businesses is incredibly painful — so much so that selling door-to-door is still common practice. With Resquared, any industry that sells to local businesses (commercial real estate, insurance, marketing agencies) can get access to an exclusive database of small businesses in their region and contact hundreds of businesses in just a few clicks.

Who are you?

You’re passionate about creating high-quality marketing content that delivers value to our audience. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about taking Resquared content to the next level on all of our marketing channels (blog, socials, newsletters, webinars) and bringing raw materials like customer testimonials and success stories to life.

You’ll be working directly alongside Tyler, co-founder and COO, and Emily, Operations Manager. You’ll also be working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to communicate customer success stories.

Responsibilities

* Produce high-quality blog articles, white papers, press releases, email marketing campaigns, case studies/testimonials, presentation content, survey reports and web copy

* Push the business to larger brand awareness, increased pipeline for the sales team, and ultimately to grow our revenue and impact
* Edit content produced by the team and maintain the editorial calendar
* Work closely with Co-Founder Tyler, Operations Mgr Emily, and Revenue Ops Zack for direct exposure to senior leaders

Requirements:

* Strong grasp on Canva or other basic graphic design tools to generate content

* Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive
* Must be nimble in startup environment, grit
* Ability to determine if a piece of content has “value” or not
* Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
* Curiosity to learn and get better
* BONUS - you live close to Tampa, FL (where our co-founder is based)

Non-requirements:

* College degree (attitude > aptitude)

* Official content/marketing experience — simply be able to show off any content you have made before

Compensation & Perks:

* $40-60k salary depending on prior experience
