We seek a Data Analyst to contribute to our ongoing Social Media and Operational analytics projects. In this role, you will contribute to our end-to-end analytics process, including data sourcing, data ingestion, data modeling, data quality testing and validation, and data visualization development. The ideal candidate is detail and quality oriented, able to operate independently, and has a customer-first mindset.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

 

  • Developing analytics pipelines using DBT
  • Building data visualizations and dashboards using Metabase
  • Contributing to manual quality assurance reviews of raw and processed data assets
  • Developing and refining automated tests to monitor and improve data quality
  • Leveraging SQL and analytical skills to answer ad-hoc questions from our internal customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • Experience with DBT for data modeling considered a plus, but not a requirement.
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Visualization tools with a proven ability to deliver functional and aesthetically pleasing analytics products
  • Experience with Metabase would be a plus, but experience with similar BI platforms, such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Superset would also be considered relevant.
  • Experience modeling data for consumption in Business Intelligence environments
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as git
  • Familiarity with data warehouse patterns
  • Ability to conduct manual QA for data accuracy
  • Experience with Python and cloud technologies considered a plus, but not a requirement
