RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll have a key role in building and defining the data strategy at Reveal. This role will focus on developing data pipelines to support the ingestion and processing of CRM data to benefit our end users - Partnership, Sales and Marketing Teams. You’ll work closely with our Lead Data Engineer, Product Manager and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization to identify key data needs.
- Build complex data pipelines (batch and stream) working on large datasets (10-100 billion lines) and aiming for real time processing
- Define infrastructure needs to support such data pipelines
- Participate in the product roadmap to make sure the data is usable by other squads
- Evaluate new technologies and ways to optimize current processes
- Strive for state-of-the-art coding practices, deliver reliable and resilient code
- Put knowledge of agile software development methodologies in practice
REPORTING LINE
This job will report to the Lead Data Engineer
YOUR BACKGROUND
- At least 4 years of experience in Software engineering
- Strong general software engineering (backend) background
- Experience in data processing technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark…
- Knowledge in event driven architectures (for instance Apache Kafka) would be a plus
