Role and Responsibilities

This is a role for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining Prism Lab’s Prism API platform hosted on AWS and other cloud services. In addition you will advise on future API enhancements and rollout. You will also collaborate closely with our Computer Vision / Machine Learning / Generative AI R&D engineers and our mobile engineers to deliver unique, mind blowing products that solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements, propose, and deliver the best possible solutions

• Lead software development projects

• Document and record every aspect of an application or software

• Plan, track, and schedule software deliverables

• Research and propose new apps and products

• Develop APIs for application functionality and better user performance

• Follow standard coding practices when writing code

• Provide support during the entire application development process

• Troubleshoot and debug apps before handing them over to testers for better performance

• Update the tech stack according to latest technology trends

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience of working as a Full Stack App Developer

• Portfolio of successfully released applications

• Must have experience with Javascript, Typescript, and SQL

• Preferred experience with Angular, NestJS, Postgres, Python, and AWS

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills (team player, self-motivated, fast learner)

Nice to Have

• Integration with GPU-based cloud solutions / API

• Integration with edge devices (iOS / Android)

Education & Experience

BSc / MSc in computer science and engineering; alternatively a comparable industry career, with significant experience on delivering products for consumers.

Salary / Benefits

• Salary starts at 65,000 EUR with willingness for over-payment for extraordinary qualifications.

• You will receive stock options under our vesting plan so you will get ownership of our enterprise.

• Place of work is Graz or Vienna, Austria, so you will have all benefits from Austrian Social Insurance.

• We have a hybrid work environment where you could come to our facilities for a few days a week for meetings and other cross functional activities and also work remotely from your residence.
