Thrive Market’s Engineering team is expanding! We are seeking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to our team in order to build a best in class e-commerce experience. This Quality Assurance Engineer will work within cross-functional pods to drive business impact and provide a seamless, fast and defect-free experience for our millions of customers. You will get the change to work with some of the smartest folks in the Tech space and influence the quality of delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Dictate, modify, and adhere to product quality standards from beginning to end
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and design teams to identify test cases
- Identify, prioritize, and document bugs
- Manual testing of our web-based application and native apps (Android and iOS)
- Automation of End to End workflows using Selenium/Cypress
- Develop, implement, and track automated testing (including regression and performance testing)
- Work extensively on Chrome developer tools, ensuring that all network calls, latency, cookies, console output, and Google Analytics tags/calls are fired correctly
- Troubleshoot and document bugs associated with features not meeting specifications using JIRA
- Create, validate, and execute test cases and automation as needed and update as new features are delivered
- Documentation of functionality from both business and technical perspectives in Confluence
- Follow Agile methodology (Regular sprints, daily scrums, user stories, grooming, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ Years of testing web and mobile native applications
- 2+ Years of automation experience using Selenium and Cypress.
- Experience in manual testing and writing test cases/plans/runs in TestRails
- Experience in eCommerce and startup is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and tools such as Postman for API testing
- Familiarity with Optimizely, Rundeck, Jenkins, and/or Magento (e-commerce)
- Must have the ability to prioritize and process requests from multiple stakeholders promptly
- JIRA experience or similar issue and project tracking softwareTestRail or similar test case management software
- Experience working with JavaScript and JavaScript testing frameworks
- Experience building automated test harnesses and working with Selenium/Cypress
- Experience using AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with databases and competence in SQL
- Familiarity with Domo and Snowflake is a plus
- Experience with Software Development is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field

JOB INFORMATION:
- Compensation Description – The base salary range for this position is $110,000 – $150,000/Per Year.
- Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
